Hello reader, today I’ll be taking you through some of the major and crucial roles played by vocational courses and training in the eradication of the increasingly huge unemployment rates in the country. Most people especially the youth currently are unemployed. They all need to make a living and since they are unemployed, most of them result to more dependence on aid from well wishers and even engaging themselves in crimes so that they could earn income to cater for their daily needs . Through vocational courses and training, many of these people have been able to equip themselves with professional skills and knowledge to work in a variety of jobs all over the country. Hence they been now able to make a living, meet their daily needs as well as improving their standards of living. This has been a major benefit as the dependency rates too have declined greatly. 

 Some of the major roles played by these vocational training and courses in the eradication of vast unemployment rates in the country are elaborated below:

. Vast job creation. 

 These vocational courses and training have the mandate to equip it’s learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform different jobs effectively. Most of them doesn’t require professional resumes for you to enroll. Hence most of the people who majorly lack enough knowledge on previous school levels may enroll into these institutions quite easily. Therefore more of these people being equipped guarantees you that most of them will now be able to start their jobs and generate their own income to sustain their daily needs as well as most of them too will have the relevant knowledge and skill set to be employed in organisations and businesses hence also be able to generate their income thus sustain their daily needs. Hence through this , unemployment rates in the country have greatly declined.

 Many learners have been equipped with relevant knowledge, skills and abilities in these vocational training institutions. Thus through the competency instilled in them, they will be able to start up and run their own businesses hence be able to generate their own income to sustain their daily lives in the long run. A person rich in skills, knowledge and expertise in a particular field is more likely to be employed and if not , he/she is able to start and run his/her own business. Therefore vocational courses and training have played a major part in creating more and more job opportunities majorly for those who lack in professional skills and knowledge . This has facilitated the decline of vast unemployment rates in the country.

 Due to many people enrolling to these institutions, the government have been able to generate more revenue in the long run. Hence the government has been able to invest that money generated to other development projects hence creating more job opportunities in the country. This has been made possible due to the vast number of students joining these institutions as more money is obtained from the fee generated as well as the extra costs incurred in receiving other relevant services in those institutions. Therefore through these vocational training centres and institutions, more jobs have been created therefore , the vast unemployment rates in the country have declined greatly.

. Increased productivity in businesses and industries.

 After acquisition of the necessary knowledge and skill set, these people have greatly helped increase the production levels in many businesses and companies courtesy of these vocational training centres and institutions. Through application of the knowledge taught in these vocational institutions and due to the vast number of graduates on accomplishment of the training period, there has been sufficient labor in the market , the production levels have increased greatly. Increase in production activities creates more job opportunities for people most those engaging in marketing the final products produced. Therefore many job opportunities have been created this there has been a reduction of the unemployment rates in the country.

In summary, these vocational courses and training have played key roles in maximizing job opportunities in the country majorly to those people who lacked in professional skills and knowledge hence vast unemployment rates have greatly declined.
