To curb this mega issue , many initiatives have been formulated and implemented. Some of the major ways adopted in the this fight against terrorism are elaborated below :

  These groups have been established in each and every rural area so as to keep track of all people in those respective jurisdictions. Knowing and understanding who’s next to you; your neighbor, is the first step in curbing terrorism. Through this initiative, terror attacks have greatly decreased within the country. Combined efforts by the government and the citizens have proven effective in this fight as citizens have helped the government in detaining many suspects who eventually have been confirmed being involved in terrorism.  The government has made efforts in recruiting more service men and women in the military. This has proven effective in the fight against terrorism as there has been sufficient labor. Therefore patrols have been effective in ensuring the safety of the citizens, their property and the country at large. The availability of sufficient labor hence has played a vital role in curbing terrorism in the country.

. Advancement in technology.

 Technological advancement within the country in terms of military equipment and strategies has proven effective in the fight against terrorism. For inspections, human labor have been relieved the burden of patrolling large areas due to the presence of drones. Drones have facilitated the ease in monitoring large areas within a short period of time hence terror groups and attacks have been minimal. The lives of our service men and women too have been much better as they’re not put at risk due to the unexpected consequences accompanied by patrolling an unknown area. In terms of the military equipment used too, curbing terrorism has been much easier and effective.

. Initiatives by the government in retreating firearms from the citizens. 

 Unlicensed firearms have been retreated. Most of these firearms were majorly used in these terror groups and attacks. Therefore, through retreating them , more suspects too had been found hence this has helped curb terrorism in the country. A firearm free society is more safer than a community with illegal firearms. Presence of illegal firearms guarantees an insecure society as there will be property destruction, there will be increased robberies as well as lives will be lost. Therefore disarming the common citizens gives an assurance of a much safer community to live and work in hence terror groups and attacks will be reduced .

. Policy formulation and implementation.

 Policies fighting against terrorism should be implemented. This laws should provide a clear guideline to the citizens on what to do and what not to do. The government should make regular inspections to ascertain that these laws are abided by as the policy states. Those who go against the laws should face the consequences as outlined by the policy. Severe punishment should be imposed on them so that they act as a lesson to those others who may think of going against the law. Formulation and implementation of policies has always proven effective in the success of many initiatives. Therefore if policies are used and taken seriously, the fight against terrorism will be much easier and effective.
